Other Experiences

I’m Sheng Li, a musician from Singapore and founder of guitarstreet - https://www.guitarstreet.sg/ I’m passionate about telling stories with music, and specialize in playing acoustic live sessions. I started busking in 2018, playing guitar and singing on the streets of Singapore. I've busked both in the heartlands (Marine Parade, Paya Lebar) and in the city (Cathay, Orchard Road, Clarke Quay), and fell in love with using music to connect with people and create wonderful moments of joy. Since then, I've also performed regularly in many weddings and corporate events. A big part of my passion is also helping others discover the joy of learning music. Music changed my life, so I want to do what I can to pass it forward.
I started teaching private students since 2012. My students come from all walks of life, and range from 9 years old to 59 years old. My philosophy is about learning and growth, helping students get out of their comfort zone gradually while having fun at the same time. While I strive to help my students achieve a very strong foundation in the guitar, music is also a very personal thing, hence I always try my best to cater my lessons according to what each student wants to learn. I'm also a content creator on YouTube, making song covers and guitar tutorial videos. You can check them out at https://youtube.com/guitarstreetmusic

Best guitar teacher I've ever had. Super patient with a slow learner like me and always go the extra mile to provide a better learning experience. Passionate and happy for his students when they succeed. Highly recommended.
